We are very proud of being a Longmont company who has been a staple of the community for many years. Our involvement in the community goes beyond just providing custom apparel to other local companies and schools. We sponsor and volunteer for many local events as well as donating our printing to community groups such as the St. Vrain Education Foundation in order to further bolster the impact of the organization.
Take a look at a few of our favorite community activities and events:
Happy Smackah:
Each year the Happy Smackah Foundation chooses a deserving person from the St. Vrain Valley School District to honor on their annual fun run.
This is an opportunity to get the whole community together and raise money for one of our own in need.
SKAZMA does their best to support this event by making shirts and donating money. We also volunteer by handing out the t-shirts to participants on race day.
The joy on participants’ faces and the knowledge that we are helping someone in need keeps us coming back every single year.
We hope you’ll join us for the event this year!
Check out Happy Smackah’s website to find out how you can get involved.
Sunrise Stampede:
This event truly lives up to its name. Our team arrives with shirts in tow when the sun still hasn’t peaked over the Colorado plains.
While we are busy getting set up, participants begin to arrive and our table is bombarded by eager early birds ready to give back to the students of our future.
The Sunrise Stampede is organized by the Education Foundation for the St. Vrain Valley whose mission is to provide resources and educational opportunities to our local communities and enhance student success and teacher excellence.
This event is an organized race at Silver Creek High School in Longmont with participants choosing to make it a 5K or 10K run or walk.
This is another great opportunity to impact our local community.
Longmont Chamber of Commerce:
Kevin, the owner of SKAZMA is on the board for the Longmont Chamber of Commerce, which connects us to many other local businesses, small and large. We love to support new businesses at their ribbon cuttings and learn about their vision for their business. They have many monthly events that allow members to mingle with the movers and shakers of Longmont.
The Chamber of Commerce sponsors many events each month and year in order to help local businesses grow and improve.
We believe that the Chamber is not only a great way to learn and network, but that it helps Longmont strengthen and improve for our citizens.
If you are a local business owner, consider joining us for one of the Chamber’s many events or even getting your business involved as a member.
We also work with and donate to a multitude of local businesses, schools, non-profits, and churches including but not limited to:
St. Vrain Education Foundation
Silver Creek Education Foundation
Local Schools
Silent auctions
And many more…
If you are in the Longmont area, we would love to see you at a future event!
